Kobalt multi tool combo12/14/2023 ![]() ![]() I'm currently have deWalt 12V Max and 18V Bosch Lithium systems, but the Bosch looks huge. I sure wish deWalt came out with a 12V Max oscillating tool, if they had one I would own it this afternoon.Īlso interested in any other short length, low vibration alternatives, doesn't have to be air. 40V Cordless Battery Attachment Capable String Trimmer and Leaf Blower Combo Kit (2-Tools) w/ 4.0 Ah Battery & Charger. I've been promising myself a Fein for woodworking, I'll buy it when I need it, but a long corded tool isn't going to help much in this situation. I went through both of my 2 wood blades rather quickly, and I'd rather buy a new tool than pay for crappy replacement HF blades that cost more than the tool. As for the Kobalt 18V Lithium-ion Cordless 4-tool Kit, we gave it an above-average 6/10 for Performance and an exceptional 7/10 for Value. The HF is functional but the vibration sure does a job on my hands after a few minutes. My main concerns are tool interchangeability (so I can use quality blades like Bosch) and vibration. With a swivel or right angle adapter, this looks to be perfect: ![]() I'm cutting off old hard rubber muffler hangers, and as usual when working on vehicles (and this is a pickup truck) things are too tight to get to all of them with a long corded tool. Anyone have one of these? I like the small size, and I have air.
